We've rounded up our top five brunch options for whichever type of cuisine you're craving.
The Best Brunch Locations Near Rainey Street in Downtown Austin
Dining outside on Forthright's leafy patio is the perfect way to enjoy Sunday brunch. Their menu puts a twist on your traditional brunch dishes. Whether you choose their quinoa brûlée or indulge in their waffle sandwich, there are hearty meals for any appetite. Wash it down with an iced cashew milk Latte or a classic Bloody Mary and you'll be ready to explore everything downtown Austin has to offer.
Moonshine Patio Bar & Grill
Moonshine is known for their comfort food and their classic Sunday brunch buffet. Featuring modern twists on classic dishes like broccoli cheese casserole, biscuits and gravy and corn beef hash, this buffet will have you coming back every week. Doors open at 9 a.m. and since it's first-come-first- serve, you may have to wait a little while. But trust us, it's worth it. And don't forget to try a mimosa before heading back to our waterfront condos.
Blenders and Bowls
When you need to feel nourished, not just full, Blenders and Bowls is the perfect place to get your daily dose of fruits and veggies. Featuring healthy brunch options for all sorts of diets, this place will make you look forward to eating healthy. Try the beach bowl with strawberries, coconut, blueberries, granola, and honey. It’s also the perfect way to recharge after a sweaty yoga class at Wanderlust Yoga, which is located in the same building!
Banger's Sausage House and Beer Garden
Located right on Rainey Street, Banger's is a great spot for a hearty Sunday brunch. Featuring items like house cured salmon and steak and eggs, this is the perfect place to fill up on comfort food and sip on one of their famous manmosas while listening to their regularly scheduled live music.
Emmer & Rye
Another Rainey Street favorite, Emmer & Rye features interesting brunch choices like lamb carnitas and zucchini bread. Brunch wouldn't be complete without a bloody Mary, and their signature one features deliciously smoked chilies, hibiscus & peppercorn vinegar, and fennel. Sunday brunch starts at 11 a.m. and is served all day.
